Blocks 'nGoblins

The legend returns, in blocks — now in 3D

A side-scrolling action platformer that plays like Capcom's Ghosts 'n Goblins (1985), rebuilt in Minecraft-flavoured voxel 2.5D with Three.js. Play as Sir Arthur, armor gleaming and sword aglow, and fight your way through a torch-lit foggy graveyard. It's not playable just yet — here's a preview and the devlog while I build it.

What it is

A blocky love-letter to a 1985 classic

The camera is locked to the side, Donkey Kong Country-style, so it plays like the 2D original but everything is built from real 3D voxels — with shadows, torch light and drifting fog. Run, jump, crouch and throw your way across the stage. Get hit once and your armor shatters; get hit again and, well… that's what the extra lives are for.

Keyboard on desktop, touch buttons on phone. Jump the gaps, throw your lance, don't get cornered.
